Sam Oppenheim:
- Hi! I'm an educator and professional photographer and traveler. I have spent over 16 months in India, been to every state in the country, and speak Hindi -- But what really sets me apart from other tour operators is my passion for photography and love of world cultures. I will help make your travel both safe and adventurous, memorable and educational. Traveling with me you will learn about every facet of India that you come into contact with and understand how to take the best photographs of each different person, place, or object that inspires you.
My academic background includes archaeology, comparative religion, and anthropology for both my B.A. and M.A. I can therefore help explain differences in cultures, beliefs, and ancient monuments. My expertise in photography comes from apprenticeships with professionals, classes, and most imortantly experience: over a decade of travel photography in over 40 countries. I will help you become better at the technical and artistic side of your craft. You will also learn how to best approach strangers on your travels, and I guarantee results! When you return home you will cherish much better photographs than from your previous travel experiences.
It is my personal goal to see that when you return home you become a spokeperson for the beauty that is travel in India, an expert amongst your friends when it comes to photography, and that you carry with you priceless memories of an incredible journey.

- Shekhar is the kindest man alive. I know this sounds strange -- And is not the way you usually advertise a guide, but I think you will love him when you meet him, and he will make your travel experience complete. So far everyone I know who has met him is blown away by his perspective and open heart!
He is a 45 year old English teacher, married, with two children. He has lived his whole life in India, but he also loves to travel and speaks 5 Indian languages. He has been to every place we are traveling to, most of them with me in many years of traveling together. He will be our Indian local connection, and as a partnership we cover all the bases, foreigner-local, Western-Eastern, younger-older, and as a team we are unbeatable. Both of us will travel with you, our clients, everywhere we go, guide you in car rides, translate for you when necessary, and explain anything you wonder about while traversing the Subcontinent.
